To understand the community in which the NSS volunteers work and to understand themselves in relation to their community.

To acquire leadership qualities and democratic values.
To develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters.
To practice national integration and social harmony.
We are currently running two NSS Units in our College campus. Under the NSS Unit we have Adopted 5 Villages where we conduct various Campaigns,
Treatment camps for animals, cleaning of the Villages etc.
NSS Unit exists in the our College Campus under the Guidance of the NSS In-Charge, team from the Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry
Extension Education, ACVM. This additional duty is allotted to the concerned Department’s Faculty Members by the Dean of the College. Many activities
such as Planation, Blood Donation, Heath camps, Yoga Classes are being conducted time to time for the betterment of the students and to make them a
responsible, strong citizen of the country.
There is also a Special Achievement/ Best Volunteer Award for the Volunteers who are best in all the activities; it is based on the participation of
the volunteer in the activities. This award is given every year at the College Level.
